11 Aug 2003 Westover, Romiley SJ931900 Adult 1 gen det F - SF - also confirmed by John Langmaid from photo. Thanks for that, Shane. I've examined the specimens of both species in my collection, and yours is quite clearly robustella. The most striking difference I can see with my specimens (11 alchimiella & 9 robustella) is the great contrast between the colour of the thorax and that of the tegulae in alchimiella, where the tegulae are purplish in contrast to the golden yellow thorax, whereas in robustella, and in your specimen, the thorax and tegulae are much the same colour. will dissect to confirm.
